The IT/D Business Partner (BP) for our Bearing Divisions serves as the relationship link from our Industrial and Engine Bearings Branche to IT/D at the executive level. He/She has the overall responsibility to serve as the strategic interface between IT/D and the bearings division for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Supports integration of IT/D as part of business value stream and ensures that divisional IT/D roadmap is in place and aligned with divisional/strategic unit strategy (focus is on positive business outcome)
• Ensures together with divisional enterprise architect:
  • update of target IT-landscape (based on impact of IT roadmap)
  • break-down of IT-roadmap to corresponding product backlog
• Monitors realization of planned value after implementation (focus on monetarization)
• Drives escalation process if there are repeated service outages / delays by IT/D
• Drives overall IT/D-strategy with other business partners and relevant stakeholders
• Drives agile transformation within business divisions and sites

Requirements

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering, system analysis or a related field of study, or equivalent experience
• 3 to 5 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various global technical environments and business segments
• Experience in manufacturing industry
• Understanding of digital business models and opportunities
• Experience with managing team(s) responsible in strategic planning, business development or client management and working with a broad range of diverse business units
• Strong understanding of manufacturing business to include their business drivers for success, process and approaches to business models
• Experienced in working in an agile working environment is a plus
